Business Meeting and In-Person Voting
Districts 2, 5, and 7 are up for election this year. We will also hold a postponed 2020 election for the uncontested incumbent in District 4.
As an electric cooperative, Tipmont is guided by a board of directors elected by our membership to represent their best interests when making important decisions. Each director is elected to a three-year term.
Being a member of this board is an incredibly important position in our community. The board’s decisions impact issues such as service rates, rights-of-way and work plans. This position holds significant responsibility and requires individuals who understand their community’s needs and serve the cooperative members’ best interest.
FIVE $1,000 GRAND PRIZES
You could win a cash prize or bill credit of $1,000! We will name five grand prize winners at the end of the 2021 Business Meeting. The member's name must be listed on the Tipmont account. You need not be present to win, which means those of you choosing this year's drive-thru option are also eligible.
COVID GUIDANCEWe intend to follow all applicable current health guidelines as they are set out at the time of the 2021 Annual Meeting. For those attending in person, wearing masks will be encouraged. Please watch our website, Facebook page and SmartHub for more information closer to the meeting.
Reconnecting with and Fighting for you
In July 2019, our 80th Annual Meeting celebrated our past, present and future. We had recently acquired Wintek Corporation and were commemorating the first customers’ connections to our state-of-the-art fiber internet. No one envisioned it would be two years before we were able to hold another Annual Meeting.
